The Peeling Book 2 (The Stadium) – Iain Rob Wright

This is Book 2 of The Peeling, each book is the story of a different survivor so this one is different from the first. The thing I like about these books is the way they are written. They’re believable and Iain brings across the trauma of this illness really well.

As I said before you can get these books separately but you can also get them as one here;

These books are real page turners and as short stories they are something you can sit down and read over a cup of coffee or on a train journey.

I think what makes these books, for me, so realistic is that if a flesh-eating virus did break out on this level, it would spread because we’re great at healing the simple things but give us something new and unknown and we’d just panic. Necrotizing Faciitis is a flesh-eating disease which affects the deeper levels of skin and subcutaneous tissue. So like I said, it’s possible!

If you’re squeamish you may want to look away now, these are images of Necrotizing Faciitis for those interested. Think about Iain Rob Wright’s description of the peeling.

Not for the weak stomach…

  1. mm it appears like your site ate my first comment it was super long so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for inexperienced blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

    • Write what is in your heart and the rest will follow. Just think about what you have written before you post. The great thing about a blog is you can talk about the things you love and the people who agree will follow.
