In this series of comic books, available on Kindle, you will embark on a quirky, out of this world, adventure which is sure to make you smile.
With illustrations which put me in mind of Roy Lichtenstein’s pop art, each cell is nicely drawn and clear. It’s not massively detailed but I think that’s what I like about it, nice and simple.
When reading on the Kindle you will view the whole page, as you would reading a comic, but as you turn the page it will then show you each cell, one at a time, bigger and in sequence, so there’s no squinting at the screen wondering if there’s something you’ve missed.
As the introduction to the story it’s a nice and quirky read, I’ll definitely be reading the rest of the comics and will of course review them in turn, but what I’d say about this series so far is this; if you like a quirky kind of humour then the chances are you’ll enjoy this comic and there’s no reason not to when you see the prices!
You can get the comics here;
I Was Kidnapped by Lesbian Pirates from Outer Space is no more than 38p a copy throughout the series, and the first one is free. If this review has sparked your interest then go get them. Even if you decide you don’t like them it’s a cheap read.
