Welcome to Day 1 of PK Hrezo Week! Today I’m showing you my review of the prequel to the Butterman Time Travel Series, the reason for this is that I read this book first and I think it’s the best order to read them. By the end of this book you will have got to know Bianca and you’ll be wanting to read the others.
So, here’s the review;
This book comprises of the diary entries of a teenage girl named Bianca Butterman, the daughter of time travellers and heir to the family company.
Although the teenage diary thing has been done a fair few times, what with Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging and The Princess Diaries etc, this one has it’s own refreshing ideas. This one is not only about time travel but is also set in the future. Bianca, rather than being boy obsessed, has a goal and is determined to get there. She’s a strong female character who knows exactly what she needs to do to get where she wants. Throughout the diary she shares her academic experiences.
There are some errors throughout the book, however, this does not detract from the story and as it’s a teen diary it’s probably somewhat forgiveable.
At the end of the book there is a note about the author and also links to the novels linked to this diary. There is a full length novel about Bianca called Butterman Time Travel Inc, Book 1 and a sequel, Book 2, Induction Day.
I’ll be reviewing all three books this week so in the meantime, if you’d like to give these books a go you can get them here;
