Today I went to the NEC to have a look for bits for Wedding Invitations and have a general shop around and do some crafty workshops. Being a paper crafter there is always something new to learn and today was no disappointment! Not only did I make a little paper handbag which will work great as a gift bag for small trinkets, but we happened across a Sock Teddy stall and booked on to the class to have a bash!
We did the Sock Teddies class with ladies from Crafty Beggars, which incidentally is now on TV! You can check them out on Facebook or on their website;
The paper handbag was made in a Die Cutting class with Tonic Studios and again the ladies were lovely and happy to help if needed. I have a die cutter myself although it is the Sissix Big Shot so it is slightly different and I got to try a new shape with layering. You can find Tonic Studios on their Facebook or Website too;
I had a great time and really enjoyed myself and having spent only £3 to do the Sock Teddy and nothing to do the handbag the classes were fantastic value for money. As well as this there are a multitude of other workshops and stalls and we have the Wedding Invitations more or less covered, as well as a die for the favours!
Here are my makes;
