We visited the Golden Anchor during our recent trip to Bridlington because we were in search of some breakfast.
Sitting down and looking at the menu we noticed they had several options for the size of your breakfast, this includes a “Mega Breakfast” which other than the usual bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding.. etc etc, you also get a cheese burger. Whilst this option isn’t really for me as I like to be able to move after my breakfast, if you’re hungry and you have £7.99 to spare, it would definitely set you up for the day!
I had a Breakfast Omelette which I noticed on the specials board, which was lovely. It was topped with bacon, sausage and mushrooms and was served with chopped tomatoes and beans.
My Partner had a medium breakfast. Which comprised of Bacon, Sausage, Egg, Beans, Tomatoes, Fried Bread and Toast.
These breakfasts also come with tea or coffee, and my omelette had an option to add coffee for just £1. The whole visit cost us about £8 in total.
I would definitely recommend this place, it’s a simple cafe with simple prices and really tasty food, and we didn’t actually eat anything else until about 5:30pm (We ate before 10am)
Definitely the place to go before a day of exploring!
